Any advise? If for some reason she was allergic to anything with the Fromm's food, would diarrhea be a symptom of an allergy or no?

Which Fromm did you switch to? Also how much are you feeding per day/meal?

We switched to the Fromm Gold Puppy food, its in a pink bag. We were going to keep her on that till she is around 10 months old. Currently we are feeding her 2 1/2 cups per day (split into two feedings per day) and this is actually 1/2 a cup less then what the bag says to feed her. I just feel so bad because she is outside constantly having to go, and I just want to make sure this will pass or see if maybe the food isn't agreeing with her.

    Fromm Dog Food

Cut down to 1 cup per meal and see if that helps settle her poo and gas. If it does, you can slowly increase it. The feeding guidelines are based upon all breeds and bulldogs are a special breed that does not require as much food intake for their weight because much of their weight is in bulk. I was first going to suggest 3/4 c per meal because I have English bulldogs which are much bigger and only give them 1 cup per meal. My smallest weighing in a 42 lbs only gets 3/4 of a cup or she would be a sausage. She already kinda is!

Fromm has such good ingredients that they require so much less. In fact after thinking about it I would go with 3/4 cup per meal until her tummy settles.

    Re: Fromm Dog Food

Sorry my post was wrong.. She gets 1 1/2 cups total per day (so two feedings of 3/4 cups) Ha sorry I confused it with our big dogs. The dog food bag says to feed her a total of 2 cups per day and we are feeding half a cup less then that.

She was kenneled this past weekend while we were out of town visiting family. Would stress or being away from home cause sever diarrhea? Because last night and this morning it was terrible. I gave her a pill her breeder gave us for diarrhea so we are hoping that helps calm her down.

Stress and being away from can cause diarrhea. Also overfeeding, but it sounds like that isn't the case. I'd go with a bland diet until she is pooping logs then gradually reintroduce the Fromm. If the diarrhea returns you know it is the wrong food for her.

Alright perhaps a bland diet will help. Should I just follow the instructions from the "bland diet" linked post? Basically a cup of rice and boiled hamburger? Ha I have never boiled hamburger, should be interesting? Do you literally fill up a pan with water and raw hamburger and simply boil and then drain? Sounds gross

Then how long do you feed them the bland diet before re-introducing the kibble?

Stress and being away will do it.... Bland diet as other have said. And yes, just boil and drain. It does look gross too because of the fat .... Yuk but it is good for them

Stress can definitely cause diarrhea. Jax got diarrhea twice after going to doggie daycare and it lasted about 3 days both times. He went to daycare again last week and he didn't get diarrhea (hooray).
