I should just stop getting my hopes up I guess..... haven't heard a thing yet! This is just so frustrating. I want my little snuggle bug!

When were they supposed to call? Did they give you a time or date?

Unfortunately, she didn't say when she was going to call, just asked me what is the best time to contact me, so I responded to her email (she emailed me on Wednesday, late), but haven't heard anything back yet. Hopefully my reply did not go into her spam folder. I'm trying to be patient, but it's difficult.

If not this puppy, then the right one will come. Babette and I still have all of our fingers, toes, paws, and eyes crossed for you.

No. I never heard from them, and now she is pending!

I just want to give a loving home to a Frenchie and I just can't seem to get anywhere!

I had a home visit and then no word. I emailed the contact person and asked her what I could have done differently. She thought I was a great candidate but the organization wanted a home with another Frenchie since the one I applied for lived with a breeder and was crated the entire time.

You could contact the person and ask about your application.

I found Cosette from an ad from a woman who could no longer keep her due to her husband's allergies. Different scenarios occur often.

It's true some are scams so you must research and be very careful but there are legit people looking to rehome their Frenchies.
Please don't loose heart. Your baby is waiting for you to find him or her.

Re: Potential rescue adoption - phone interview

I'm so disheartened! The phone call never happened! Now Alaska is pending and I have no chance of even having a shot of adopting her! I just feel she would have been the perfect fit and wanted to bring that little girl home! I sent a couple of emails to the contact person (email was the only way I could reach her), and never heard anything. I finally got an email from her this morning saying her internet has been down and that they do have a pending adopter for Alaska at this time (not me). I just feel it was unfair that she would send me an email wanting to do a phone interview and then I never hear from her. Trust me, I don't feel entitled by any means, but I do feel like I wasn't given a fair chance. Is this the way it will go from here on out, because I'm not sure how much more of this I can take! I'm on the verge of getting on a waiting list with the breeder I have chosen, but I feel so bad for the Frenchies that need homes and want to go that way, but they make it so difficult!

Cosette is a cutie, I love the picture of her above! Thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement. Sorry for the venting though, but it helps to have a place to discuss all this with with people who love this breed!

I'm so sorry. Don't give up though. Good things come to those who wait.
