"That tear stain stuff" it's a powder you put in their food, kills the yeast and bacteria that makes the stains.

@meggypoo328 - I used to give Cooper that angel eyes stuff and it gave him diarrhea! I've tried so many things for his stains and just when I think it's working, the stains get worse again. I am at a loss!! I do think filtered water helps. But now he has bumps/scabs on his back!!

@Photogirl107 that year stain stuff hasn't given henrik diarrhea. I've given it to him since he was a month old. No problems at all.

I am a firm believer that the kibble we are feeding the pups have a lot to do with the staining issues. When we brought Maddie home, her stains were dreadful. As soon as we switched to grain free kibble, the stains have almost disappeared. We just started her on raw this week.

A teaspoon or a few drops of apple cider vinegar in their water will help.

I tried putting some apple cider vinegar in Jax's water cause of all the benefits and he wouldn't drink it.

I have heard that it has to do with the water too, so maybe try filtered water.
