Sader Tot has a bilateral luxating patella, which could eventually require surgery, so adopters should be prepared for that financially. She had previously had a staph infection and the occurrence of more staph infections in her future is a high possibility--staph infections frequently follow allergic reactions. Her facial folds require daily cleaning to prevent infection and she is on a grain free diet due to her mild food allergies. Any scrapes or cuts that she might get should be watched closely and cleaned thoroughly to prevent a staph infection from coming back. Sader Tot will need ongoing help with her house training, and adopters should be prepared for a period of adjustment when she might regress in her housetraining when she gets to a new home.

This girl has never been around cats before, so it’s a no go for them. She has met a few children on walks and seems very excited and friendly to them. It is recommended that children in Sader Tot’s forever family be a bit older as she can have the tendency to get “mouthy” and overly excited during her play time. She also gets along with other dogs, but can show some of the I’m the boss attitude. She loves to play with her bigger foster sisters and snuggle with her foster Frenchie brother. It is preferred that her forever family have a Frenchie or other smaller dog that is male, as it is unknown how she will react to a small female. She does tend to guard her toys and sometimes humans from the other dogs, but it has greatly improved while Sader Tot has been in foster care. Her forever family must be committed to ongoing work in the guarding area.

Sader Tot is fairly steady energy, with spurts of excitement. She can be very mischievous, but this can mostly be attributed to her past and a clear lacking of foundation manners (she has eaten the corners off a couple books, and has attempted to make the wooden dining table and couch end tables her personal chew toys). She likes to follow the resident dogs most times, but has moments of attempted dominance when she tests her boundaries. She loves snuggling with people, and if you're sitting, she wants to be in your lap.

Sader Tot is looking for a forever family that has a stay at home person or a home with a resident Frenchie boy or other dogs. If her people couldn’t stay home, at least a mid day potty break would be needed. Due to her health issues, the home must have Frenchie experience to keep on top of her needs. An apartment or house would be ideal for her with preferably a fenced yard.
