Lemieux came into FBRN with terrible ear infections and a growth next to his eye. He had to have his vertical ear canals removed but has been infection free since. The growth next to his eye was also removed and though it is a bit cloudy, he doesn’t seem to have trouble seeing. Lemieux’s forever family will have to keep an eye on his ears and eye to make sure nothing changes. He is also on a restricted diet to help avoid those terrible itchy allergies! Other than that he is in perfect health!

Lemieux’s foster mom reports that he has the typical comic Frenchie personality! He loves playing with his human or furry friends, rolling around like a crazy man, and amusing himself with toys. He loves being outside and going for walks, but also enjoys cuddling up on the couch or rolling over for some belly rubs. This guy gets along well with everyone: dogs, cats AND kids! Sometimes he can get a little excited and jump, but he corrects easily and is generally very polite. While Lemieux is housebroken and crate trained, he will attempt to mark sometimes. His foster mom has done a great job of setting boundaries for him, and he has learned that marking is not allowed. Adopters should be prepared for some possible regression in this area following his adoption, but his foster mom will support you as you work with him.
