hi there! :)

our frenchie was born a few days ago. His mother is white and brindle but the stud was an all "blue" frenchie. I know that blue or mouse is considered a disqualification by the AKC. Toro is a fawn with a black mask and white chest. I am looking forward to showing him. He is registered with the AKC. Will I run into trouble because the stud was "mouse"? Will I still be able to show him?

I don't think his lineage will be considered a fault. As long as he meets the requirements for the standard... Is that right davidh?

As far as I understand it, that is correct. As long as he is a standard color he can be shown.
