Arwen has no health concerns, and was well taken care of and very much loved in her previous home. She likes a good Nylabone, and LOVES to be (in your lap) with her human as much as she can. Arwen also loves her belly rubs and looking out the window on car rides!

While in foster care, Arwen has not been around young children. The children in her foster home are over the age of 17. Arwen is very friendly and does not try to jump on any visitors, but we think she would do best with children 12 and older. Arwen has not been tested with cats, so per FBRN policy, she will not be adopted to a home with feline friends. This policy serves to keep both our Frenchies and our kitty companions safe.

Arwen resides with two pugs in her foster home, and they get along pretty well. She is protective of her toys, but she is easily corrected when she gets a little over zealous. Arwen would likely do best with other dogs her size, but doesn’t seem to need a furry companion. For the most part, Arwen just wants to sit in any human's lap and be loved and petted. Actually, she demands it!

Arwen loves to watch and occasionally chase lizards! Thankfully, she is not fixated on them and will come running if her foster mom calls her name. Arwen really only cares to go outside to lizard watch, sunbathe, and do her business, though. She's not a girl who likes long walks--and since she's in hot and humid Florida, that's a good thing for a frog!

Arwen is potty trained, and there have been no accidents while in foster care. She will cry at the door to let you know when she wants to go outside. She hasn’t been crated in her foster home, but does fine in her own area, separated with a baby gate. Arwen knows sit and down, but she is a smart girl who would enjoy learning some new tricks.

Arwen does not seem to like loud noises, and would do best in a home with older, quiet children or no children. She is very mellow and would do fine in an apartment or a house. She walks well on leash, but a fenced yard would be great so she can roam around and sunbathe! We think she would do fine with dogs her size, but being a princess, she might prefer to be an only pet.

Arwen doesn’t need someone home all day--not that she wouldn't love having her person around all day--but it isn’t necessary. Mid-days breaks would be fine. Arwen would also do great going to the office with her person. She rarely barks and she does well when meeting strangers.
