Chadwick is a playful pooch with average energy. He is house broken and crate trained, and knows the "sit" command. He shares his foster home with French bulldogs, pitbulls and mastiffs, and gets along well with all of them. Because he loves to take walks, a fenced yard is not required.
While Chadwick adores kids of all ages, small children will leave items lying around that he will find and swallow. Kids 12 and over should be fine, as long as they are mindful of the danger and responsible enough to avoid it. In essence, we are looking for a pathologically tidy family, for Chadwick's own good.
As far as living situations are concerned, Chadwick is very adaptable, and would be fine in a house or an apartment with a stay-at home person, someone who takes him to the office, or with a person who works all day but can provide him with a mid-day break. All in all, Chadwick is very low maintenance as long as small objects are not ever left within his reach. Give him a nice big sturdy toy, and he's a happy little dude. On walks, the watchwords must be "eternal vigilance!" and litter, acorns, cast off chicken bones, etc., have to be seen by you first.
