Angelica made her way into foster care after she decided that she wanted to be the only dog in her home and would not play nice with the other dogs who resided there. However, Angelica gets along fine with all people and even loves dog-savvy kitties! She loves to have play dates with other Frenchies, but when it comes down to it, she likes to be the queen of her castle and the only dog.

The perfect day for Angelica would consist of playing with her Nylabones and getting lots of belly rubs. She spends most of her energy playing with her toys. This petite girl is pretty low maintenance and doesn't need many long walks or a fenced yard. As long as she gets to spend time with her people and gets a few potty walks she is generally quite content.

Angelica has a couple of medical issues. After eating Angelica will regurgitate a little, but she is on medication that helps. Her new owners will need to be aware of this as she will probably need to take this medication for the rest of her life. She also has arthritis in her back which causes a skipping in one of her back legs. She only has one eye. She lost her other eye to the dog in her previous home.

The perfect home for Angelica is one with caring and loving adults, and possibly a dog-savvy teenager or two. Though she does not require a fenced yard, she does need to be leashed when walked. Angelica can live in a home or apartment and would thrive with someone who can be home with her during the day, but she can also go to the office with her new owners. She is crate trained and housebroken, but her new owners need to be prepared for a couple of possible accidents as she gets acclimated to new surroundings, and they must be aware of where she is in the house as she gets used to their schedule. Angelica is smart and therefore has the ability to get into some trouble if not kept an eye on. Because of her past history, it would be best if she could be an only dog and be able to have dog friends to play with. Because she only has one eye, her family should be cautious to find the right gentle dog friends to play with.
