Ceely was treated for demodex and worms and is fully recovered. Ceely came in with little hair, and now has a gorgeous cream coat. She has no current health issues!

Ceely enjoys children, but has a high prey drive, so a home with cats or smaller dogs would not be her cup of tea. She also does not get along with large dogs and has a dominant personality. Ceely could possibly learn to share her home with submissive dogs of her size, but would need very slow introductions to ensure a harmonious pack. Ceely does not like sharing her food or toys with other dogs so if she does have a canine companion, separate eating environments and supervised toy time would be a must. A home without any other dogs will be preferred.

This healthy girl is quite active! Ceely loves to run and play with balls and will willingly do this for hours! She is also very smart and knows several tricks, including “shoot, bang, you’re dead,” sit, and high fives! She is house trained and crate trained. Ceely will need an active, mentally engaging home to keep her busy.

Ceely’s ideal home would be as an only dog, or with a submissive dog sibling around her size. Because she is dominant and will test boundaries, she needs an experienced owner who is prepared to implement rules and consistently reinforce them. Her reactivity while out on a walk will also require training. Experience with bully breeds is also a plus. A single person, couple, or family with dog savvy children would all be wonderful for Ceely.

Because she is so active and loves to run and chase balls, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal so she can run to her heart’s content. Ceely is currently crated during the day with a mid-day break which is just peachy with her. With continued obedience and leash training, she would be a great office dog in an office without other dogs or where she could be kept separate.
