**Mylie is a reactive dog with a history of snapping and lunging at people and other dogs. She will be placed only with adopters with demonstrated competence handling reactive dogs.

Most Frenchies will love whomever they are with, but pretty brindle girl Mylie is very particular: YOU will be her person, and she will do everything she can to keep you safe.

Unfortunately, there are other people (and animals!) in the world, so this young lady will have to have your guidance to learn not to treat strangers with such suspicion. She has snapped at people and dogs, she has lunged at people and dogs, and though she has not yet made contact, she is not a dog who can be adopted by just anyone. She will require an experienced, confident, knowledgable, consistent person to keep her safe and to keep other people safe.

After many months of very slow introductions, she is finally comfortable with the dogs in her foster home, but it was a lot of hard work to make it safe, and we think she'd be happiest in a home as an only dog. If you are very experienced with dogs like Mylie and you have another dog, tell us about it in your application. She’s quite content chewing on her chew things or having a nice game of fetch in the yard. She is crate and house trained and knows her basic obedience. She enjoys walks, as long as she doesn’t meet any other dogs or people along the way, which means walks in the frozen tundra, maybe, or on lonely country roads. We won't place Mylie in a home with children or where children are frequent or long-term visitors.

Mylie is a complicated lady, but she does have her charms: her foster home reports that she is a cuddler and has never had problems with the other residents of the house. She is pure sweetness and light with the residents of her foster home, loving to snuggle and get attention, following her people around, making herself a part of the family and the action. Her foster family is very fond of her. She’s not for everyone, but for the right home. Exclusive, she might say. She's very affectionate, but she's a little screwy about her people, her toys, her area--what's hers is HERS.
