Okay so I took the very expensive plunge and Im switching Gypsy to The Honest Kitchen. I made it for the first time tonight and it seemed so soupy even after letting it hydrate for about 20 minutes. I did 1/3 cup of the food and 1/2 cup of water......was it too much water? And has anyone tried hydrating it overnight? If so do you leave it out or in the fridge?

I'd love to make it ahead of time too because my roommate feeds her when I'm at work a few days a week and I'd like to keep things easy for her.

You used right amount of water. Nothing wrong with it being soupy if dog doesn't have problem lapping it up. You can make it up ahead of time up to 48 hr before, keep it in tupperware in fridge.
Here's what it says on their website:

Once the dehydrated food has been rehydrated with warm water, you may cover and refrigerate any uneaten portions for 2-3 days. Frozen leftovers will keep for even longer. We suggest adding a little bit of warm water to the mix and stirring before serving.
