Gorgeous Glory has made her way to the available page and is ready to find her forever home! This five-year-old Frenchie was surrendered to FBRN due to her issues with urinary incontinence and her aggression toward larger dogs. While in foster care, she’s been on medication for her incontinence and it has helped a lot. She’ll need to be on these medications for the rest of her life.

Glory just loves to be with her people, and that includes children; she lives with a 2-year-old now and is great with her. She is crate trained and housebroken, and even knows a few commands. Her foster mother reports that Glory is extremely food motivated, so teaching her some new ones should be a cinch! Given her incontinence issues, she needs frequent walks but with lots of regular potty breaks, she won’t have accidents in the house. She tends to overheat quickly, so lots of short walks is all the exercise she needs. She’s perfectly content just getting belly rubs on the couch!

Though she does well with other small dogs, Glory gets intimidated around larger ones and is aggressive towards them. She particularly reacts around food and treats but only with bigger dogs. She has shown no hostility toward people, and is even fine when the resident toddler takes her food or gives her treats.

Glory would do well with a family with children or other small dogs. Due to her labored breathing, Glory’s perfect forever home would be with someone experienced with brachycephalic dogs and is willing to continue her incontinence medications. Someone who is home during the day would be best, since she needs frequent potty breaks. She would also likely be a good candidate to accompany someone to the office.
