Oooh, another Frenchie diva has made her way to the available page. Pretty, petite Cersei is ready to find her forever home! We think this is one cutie who will be scooped up right quick!

Cersei is a retired puppy-mill breeder who has made her way to FBRN and is now in search of a place to call her very own. Her perfect home might have some older kids for her to play with. She loves everyone she's ever met, and while she's not been around infants or toddlers we think she'd do great with some slightly older kids (8+).

She mostly ignores the cats in her foster home, but they are bigger than she is. Super small critters (hamsters, gerbils) won't be a great match for Cersei, but dog-savvy cats will be fine.

As for other canine pals, Cersei follows in a long line of Frenchie divas who are ready to claim their space. She does okay with submissive male dogs, but other than that she's not inclined to make friends with other pooches. If you have another dog in your home, take some time to describe them on your application so we know if they'd be a good companion for Cersei!

When it comes to other dogs, she will resource guard her food from other dogs. She doesn't bite, but she does a lot of posturing and growling. If you have another dog this is a very easy fix: feed the dogs in different rooms or in their crates. She does not have any food aggression towards people and she's never bitten anyone. In fact, she loves humans most of all!

Cersei's biggest passion in life is hanging out with her people. Her foster mom describes her as happy and easy-going. She loves to snuggle and get attention from her people. She will resource guard her people from other dogs from time to time, and that behavior should be nipped in the bud, even if you have a laid back dog.

Cersei is still learning some leash skills, but she does like to go on short-walks. She's pretty small and can escape through cracks in a fence so while we prefer a fenced yard, please note that you cannot leave her out there alone. She doesn't much like to be alone anyway, and will not go out to potty without you walking out into the yard alongside her.

She's pretty good with her potty training as long as she's kept on a schedule, though you may have to work with her a bit. Cersei is NOT a fan of wire crates. Her foster mom currently keeps her in a plastic crate and she seems to do okay in there. But if you put her in a wire crate expect her to do everything in her power to escape - injuring herself in the process.

When Cersei can't be near her people she'll sometimes chew on her nylabones or will drag some other toys around the house. But she is still learning what toys are for! She already knows what people are for - belly rubs! Her favorite!

Cersei would do fine in any type of home. She can do stairs just fine despite her petite size, but she's small enough to carry up and down the stairs with ease.

She would even come to the office with you if it meant greeting all the people! She'd have to have her own space away from other dogs though. Cersei loves to ride in the car. However, if you work away from the home she'd do just fine with a mid-day potty break.
