Bouncy, beautiful Silhouette was surrendered to FBRN by a downsizing breeder. Now this lovely brindle girl is ready to bring some puppy energy and puppy kisses to a lucky forever home!

Silhouette is a rambunctious, happy-go-lucky gal who wants to be where the action is. She loves playing with other dogs, and thinks cats are A-OK. Silhouette is a high-energy girl who can’t contain her excitement when she sees a leash—she wiggles and squiggles and lets you know that she can’t wait get outside! Due to her adventurous nature and tendency to dash out the front door, her forever home must have a fenced yard to prevent any unauthorized expeditions.

When playtime is over, Silhouette loves nothing more than a good cuddle with her humans. While she enjoys snoozing with her foster siblings in a real-life dogpile, sleeping in the people bed is her favorite. Silhouette is an affectionate girl who isn’t stingy with kisses and has a special affinity for earlobes. She is also an accomplished slipper thief, although she doesn’t care to chew on them—she just likes carrying them around.

Silhouette has met kids and thinks they’re great! She would do best with children over 5, who won’t be so easily knocked over by her playful, exuberant self.

Silhouette’s housebreaking skills are a work in progress. She knows that she is supposed to potty outside, but if left alone will occasionally leave an unwanted present by the back door or on the bathroom rug. Her forever home must be prepared to work with her on this. And while Silhouette has a bit of training under her belt, a puppy obedience class would be a wonderful way for her to learn her commands and bond with her new guardian.

This lively girl loves everyone she meets, so she could likely be trained to be a wonderful office dog or official store greeter. But if her new family can’t take her to work, that’s okay—she is crate trained and fine by herself so long as she gets a mid-day walk.
