Avril is ready for adoption! Could you be the one? Avril was surrendered to FBRN when her parents felt unable to properly care for her once they had a baby. That's a shame because this girl absolutely loves children! Avril is a two-year-old lady frog with lots of love to give. She adores all people she meets and goes nuts over her stuffed toys. Her foster mom says she runs around the house with toys in her mouth making cute "monster noises" when she's in a playful mood. Avril also loves cuddling on the couch, looking out the window to make sure she's not missing anything, and she thinks car rides are really fun. Avril is also not a barker (a rare frog trait!).

Avril gets along well with some dogs but can be too dominant around others. She would do best as an only dog or with a home that has passive dogs who don't mind letting her be the boss. Small animal buddies are definitely not in the cards for this girl--she has a strong prey drive and will go after cats, squirrels, and other furry creatures. Avril is dominant of her food and needs to be fed separately from other pets. Her foster mom feeds her in her crate and that works out just fine for everyone. Avril can also be a bit dominant about her humans. She is somewhat house trained; she hasn't yet figured out how to tell you when she wants to go, but she's working on it! She is crate trained and will willingly go in her crate if you toss a treat in there.

Avril would love it if her new family took her into work. Her foster mom brings her to the office and Avril loves it. She would also be fine left at home as long as someone can take her out to potty in the middle of the day. Avril has some skin allergies but they are contained with a proper diet.
