Hazel had her pups the other day. So far she and pups are doing well. Here are some pics of them, she had one boy and one girl.

Gorgeous puppies :) She looks like one tired out mama... Can't wait to see more pictures as they grow!

Yes, tell us all the details for those of us who are (probably) never going to breed... I'd be too nervous.

Rudi Lim no they are taken by C-section. That is the safest way for mama and pups. Also breed by artificial insemination.

I have heard from my friends that sometimes the mom might not want to care for the pups if they are delivered through C-section. The bitch might not lactate too. Are these two facts or myths?

@Rudi Lim, it can be true sometimes, but Hazel is a very good mama and takes great care of her pups. It did take a couple days for her milk to come in, but she still had enough for them. We did have two Engish bulldog mama's that could have cared less about their pups. One finally got the picture her second litter, and took good care of them. BeBe, one of our English bullies, was an excellent mama right from the start. So it really just depends on the mamas. Frenchies tend to be good mama's.

Thank you for sharing David. This is new to me and something I might not have the chance to experience. :)
