Dotz has been a perfect houseguest with her foster family. This girl is completely housebroken, crate trained, and has no food aggression. She also really loves romping around with the other dogs! Dotz is a very smart, happy, and active frog who gets along well with others. When excited she can get a little mouthy, so a dog-savvy person is a must. Besides being with her friends she loves chewing and playing with rope toys and stuffies.

The perfect home for Dotz is pretty flexible! She would do well in a family with children as long as they were respectful and dog-savvy and are proven door-closers and gate-lockers (Dotz has a bit of wanderlust). She could be an only dog, but also enjoys playing as long as they’re her size or smaller; due to her previous injury the vet recommends not wrestling with the big dogs! She has not been tested with cats, so she will not be placed in a home with feline friends.

We're looking for a home with no or just a few stairs--Dotz has never quite gotten the hang of them.

Dotz’s future family should be familiar with the breed & specific issues to brachycephalic dogs. Someone who works outside the home is fine as long as she could get a mid-day potty break and isn’t spending long periods of time alone. She could also do well in an office setting as long as there wasn’t a chance of her escaping – She tends to be a bit of a Houdini! Because of this a fenced yard is preferred so she can wander around. Dotz’s allergies will require that she stay on a raw diet, and she’ll need her feet and folds wiped daily.
