    Re: New to the group

Welcome to the site. When getting a Frenchie, please do your homework. Get from a reputable breeder. Stay away from the "fad" colors, (blues, Merle, black and tans) these colors are not true colors...

I would definitely take him to the vet as he is in pain.

    Re: Brachycephalic surgery

Hopefully you have a vet that is an expert in Frenchies, if not please find one. Plus I would wait until he is at least 18 months of age before neutering him. It helps with his development.

    Re: Vomiting without cause?

Coup will do this if he plays too hard and then drinks a lot of water. Hopefully this is all that is wrong with her.

    Re: Help - drooping ears!

Mavis I would have been all over that vet, that is unacceptable. Definitely find a new vet, preferably one that specializes in Frenchies. So happy your girl is doing better. I didn't think about her...

    Re: Help - drooping ears!

Mavis I responded to one of your other post about this. Sometimes when they age their ears will get thin. Plain yogurt may help (goat milk) yogurt is best if you can find it. Not sure about other...

  13. Re: Not sure if anyone has experienced this issue with their French Bulldog?

I would take him to a vet who specializes in French and English bulldogs. Definitely sounds like a spinal problem.

Re: Pees and poops in Kennel

I agree with Cbrugs be inconstant and in time she will get it.
  17. Re: Peeing when I am not giving her constant attention

She is still a pup, but they are stubborn also. You might try to put her in a crate, or play pen (X-pen) when she is by herself. Put pee pads in one side of the X-pen for her to go. She will...

    Welcome to the site.
  19. Re: Paraplegic French bulldog recurring bladder/bacterial infection

You might try adding a little water to her food and give her Nutramax Crananidin. You can get it online from Chewy. We give Hazel one tablet each day as she will get UTI's easily.

Re: First time Frenchi, hello from Vermont

Welcome and congrats on your pup. To get him a a regular schedule, try feeding him and leaving it down for 20 minutes, then pick it up. Put him in a crate and see if that helps, so he can't wonder...

Re: Puppy training in crate or crate plus pen?

I would put the crate in the pen and leave the crate open so he can come out and potty on pee pads during the night. We used to do that with our pups. They get used to sleeping in the crate, but are...
