My name is Beatrice! I came into Short Mugs Rescue Squad as a stray so there isn't much to tell about me before rescue. I had multiple infections when I came into rescue, ears, eyes, and skin. With all of the right medications and great vet care all of those infections have cleared up, and my hair is growing back where I lost it due to the skin infections! I don't have any ongoing major medical issues that Short Mugs Rescue Squad is aware of. I am spayed, up-to-date on all of my vaccinations, and microchipped.

When I came into rescue I didn't have any manners, but my foster family has worked with me and I'm a better dog these days. I get along really good with all the other dogs in my foster home EXCEPT one female. I tend to be dominate so I would do best in a home with other dogs who are submissive. The dog I am having trouble liking in my foster home is a dominate girl so my foster family is working with me to help me learn how to get along better. I have not been around cats or children since I have been in rescue. I love to play with the most active dog in my foster home so if I were around children they need to be older children because I'm still working on my manners and I may knock over smaller children while I'm playing accidentally.



I love people! I love belly rubs, and while I like to play and I can play really rough with another dog I can sit still, too. I like to please my people, and I want to be a good girl. I bark when my foster dad gets home from work because I'm happy to see him. I just love people, and I like being around them. I have enjoyed going to the vet's office and getting all the good care and the good vet loves on me and all the vet techs and I just love them back. I'm a social butterfly!! My foster family says they have enjoyed seeing me learn to play with toys and I give soft, tiny kisses!!



I am working on my manners every day so I know when my FUREVER family comes for me I will be ready for them! I am saving soft, tiny kisses for them that I will give every day for the rest of our lives together. I can't wait!!! Kisses - Beatrice
