Potty Training while moving from house to apartment

    Hello!

My boyfriend and I have made the decision to move to an apartment (dog friendly of course for our baby Maui). We currently live in a house with roommates and it hasn't been working out. He is trained to go potty outside in the backyard of course but now that we are moving to an apartment (in 1 week!!) I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to train to go on the patio (only when a walk isn't possible of course). I've read a couple articles such as using turf or dog litter. Our backyard currently doesn't have grass but has a a lot of dirt and fallen leaves from trees. I want to make this as less stressful as possible for the both of us.

    Any suggestions?

Have you ever used training pads with Maui?

Potty pads usually work, plus the fake turf works as well.
