Pumpernickel was surrendered when her owners divorced and there just wasn't much time for her anymore. FBRN took her in and we're happy to report that this is one perfect frog!

Pumpernickel has no known health problems and is a super happy Frenchie. Her foster family reports that she seems to enjoy whatever activity is going on at the time. She doesn't mind a stroll around the block, a game of fetch, snuggling on the couch or just hanging out in her doggie bed! Pumpernickel just goes with the flow and is pleased as punch to be by her people.

The six year-old-beauty has a great temperament. There's not an aggressive bone in her body. She is easy going and rarely barks. She gets the run of the house when her people are gone and is a perfect lady. She is completely house-broken and crate trained and knows some basic obedience. She could stand to work on her recall a bit. She comes when you call her in the house, but she's not so great at listening while she's outdoors; for this reason, a fenced yard is required.

Pumpernickel lives with other dogs in her foster home and likes them all. She's a bit submissive around the pack, but she doesn't mind male or female dogs. She's never been tested with cats, so for for the safety of Pumpernickel and cats we have to say know to a home with feline family members.

Children would be just fine for Pumpernickel. She gets along with everyone she meets and is just fine with humans of all sizes!
