How about keeping a fan on, "white noise"? I am a light sleeper and can't have my EB sleep in my room!

They can get cranked up sometimes, if his palate is a little long it just gets worse as they age.

As @davidh said, snoring gets worse as they age. At about age 6 they start getting louder!
