Chavo! His life story is not a pretty one, but dogs like Chavo are what the Village is all about.
Before coming into the Village, Chavo lived in a crate only being taken out for potty and breeding purposes….Talk about a sad six years out of his life! NO fluffy bed, no cuddles, no kisses on his cute, cute noggin…
No wonder now he hates to be alone…he is learning what life can really B!
OK…list of issues:
–Chavo has mild luxating patellas
–One tooth the vet says we need to monitor
–A toe missing as he had a run in with cancer…clean margins all round and he will come with his vet records
–He hates being alone; he is nervous around strangers while on home turf but out and about strangers are OK
–He is still working on potty training and manners…wouldn’t you too after six years being a crated breeding machine?
–NO cats or small children…there is that tiny bite history
–TOYS are something new to him (think lonely crate life) but he is learning!
–Best would be an only dog home with humans doting on him, giving him a chance for lots of activity..and just LOVING him!
This tiny guy is very sweet and just wants to be loved. He also loves to give his people kisses!! He is a cuddle bug who has had a rough life and deserves to live the good life now. He needs to learn to trust people and eventually to love them. If you think you are the pal for Chavo, please submit an application for adoption below!
