Do any of you guys have experience with DermaBenss shampoo? I recently got it and have only used it a couple of times. I havent had any issues with it however one time my pup got out of the shower while still wet with the shampoo and it got on my bathroom matts and as you see in the picture those stains formed because of the shampoo. Now this is supposed to be a very safe product so what the heck is in it that it stained my carpet like that?

This is normal, since that product contains benzoyl peroxide, which is a bleaching agent similar to using hydrogen peroxide to bleach your hair. Benozyl peroxide is used for hot spots, mange, seborrhea, and acne in dogs. I would switch next time to a shampoo with ketoconazole and chlorhexidine next time eg. curaseb or ketohex shampoo, unless your dog has mange.

I've used it before and never had that problem. But now I rotate between Ketohex and Chlorohexidine.
