He loves those toys with the stuffing in them but we don't get them for him anymore/let him play with them unattended as he will sit there and chew on the extremities - legs, ears, tails of the toys - to soften them up and then rip them apart.

Is there some kind of toy where he can get that chewing/nursing satisfaction that doesn't result with him potentially eating the material?

Thanks!

I can’t have any stuffie toys because my male bulldog would do the same thing and then he would eat all the appendages and parts. So now we get him snakes and donuts. I can usually find them at Home Goods or TJ Maxx for cheap.

Hey Cbrugs, thanks for the reply.

By Snakes and Donuts do you mean toys shaped as such?

Yes, sorry! Snake and donut toys! The ones we get don’t have and stuffing in it. Plus different Nylabones or other hard chew toys.

Same issue with Cheli, so we get raw marrow bones, Nylabones, moose paddles. His all time favorite is empty paper towel rolls, but I sit with him when he gets one
