Ms. Maude is now entertaining applicants for her forever home!
Maude is not shy about her obvious affection for men and will be carefully combing through applications to make sure there is at least one male in her forever home - she just completely comes out of her shell with a man around!
She came to SNORT after her owner - a gentleman - passed away which explains why she's so insistent there is a male in her new home.
At 10 years old, she is the perfect mix of snuggly and active. She walks very well on a leash and has spurts of energy but really excels at snuggle time! She even has a specific blanket from her original home she likes to cuddle up with – sleep is one of her favorite pastimes!
Maude is 100 percent house trained and does fine at home while her foster mom works. While she would of course love to have someone home with her all the time, she’d also be okay with a midday check-in.
Maude has no chronic health concerns but is a tad cautious on stairs, so her foster mom frequently carries her up and down them.
One thing she’s not so okay with? Having other dogs in her home. Having never lived with other dogs, she’s not big on sharing her space or her humans with other dogs (or cats, for that matter!). Because Maude isn’t the best sharer in the world and startles easily, a home without small children is probably best, as well.
