Lady Willow is a lovely Frenchie gal of 7 years young who is currently enjoying a life of luxury in her foster home in Ontario, Canada.
This people-loving princess is a very laid back lady who is looking for a retirement home where she can slowly meander around a fenced-in yard then spend the day snuggling on the couch, being doted on by her people.
Willow is not a very active gal and prefers to spend most of her time in a cool environment, after a short potty break outside. It is especially important for Willow’s activity level to be kept down and her environment to be kept cool, as she has an exceptionally small trachea. Due to this condition, Willow should be closely monitored in her new home and kept calm and perfectly spoiled, with her every need catered to, as every Princess would expect. Her Majesty also requires an elevated sleeping surface for her precious head – a pillow, her person’s legs or even another dog’s rear end will do just fine.
Speaking of other dogs, Willow has always lived with canine companions and would require a home with at least one other dog. She has not been cat-tested, but is pretty easy going and would probably be curious but comfortable living with cats. We would not recommend a home with small children for Miss Willow, as they may get her too worked up.
Willow is spayed and any future vet visits requiring anesthesia would need to be very carefully performed due to her tiny trachea. She does not require any medication for the trachea, but Willow does require twice daily Optimmune eye drops for dry eye. She should continue this medication for the rest of her life, as well as daily over-the-counter allergy medication and regular medicated baths. Basically, Willow is just a sweet Princess who requires a little extra pampering. In return for your services, she will be your ever-loyal, devoted, loving, snuggly forever companion.
This lovely lady has a sweet, laid-back temperament and is not an outdoor or exercise enthusiast. All she asks is that her new home have a cool environment (preferably with central air conditioning available), a fenced-in yard for quick potty breaks, a canine companion with a soft bum for Willow to rest her head on, and a comfy couch for Willow to cuddle up to her people and enjoy a good movie.
