This month we purchased two Frenchie puppies that are brothers at 5 months old. Due to the rules of importation they had to be at least 4 months to come into the US. Being that they were destined to be pets they were not socialized and left to themselves I would imagine that whole time with minimal human interaction.
As they are brothers they play well with each other, but do not understand the concept of playing with humans. The one is very hyper and plays a lot and is slowing learning to play with humans, but the other is very submissive and does not understand how to play with humans. He sometimes shys away from attention and always has is ears back in a submissive mode when given affection.
Any suggestions on how we can make him feel more at home and reduce the submissive nature?
