The best part of working from home while sick is this little girl's snuggles. I bring her to work a few days a week, but she can't sprawl out quite the way she's able to at home. This afternoon, I've got my laptop on the coffee table and am sitting on the floor leaning against the couch. Bisou is that dog that has to be physically touching me at all times, so she's been shuffling around quite a bit! Here's her rotation:

1. Lay on couch and touch mama's shoulder with paw
2. Scoot closer on couch and rest face against mama's shoulder
3. Lift head and rest chin on mama's shoulder - commence loud snoring in mama's ear
4. Rotate and lay with back against mama's back
5. Lay on floor with mama, touching her knee with my back
6. Stand up, put one paw on mama's lap and stare sadly at her, unsure of how to proceed
7. Put paws on mama's shoulder, head on her chest. Attempt to sleep standing up.
8. Attempt to lay entire body on mama's knee, then give her an exasperated look
9. Fall asleep and snore loudly once mama pulls me into position

This is step 9, which we have been on for 10 minutes now.

My feet and legs may be asleep and she may be a burning furnace of heat, but I'm one happy mama with my baby on my lap! If only I could work from home every day.

Too cute! I wish I could stay home with Jax every day.

That's adorable! Wally would just push his way to me immediately. He's not subtle.
