After 3 whole days away from Henry, it's safe to say we have both missed each other MILLIONS!

I went on a little weekend break with my little family and unfortunately couldn't take him with us :(

Not that he was bothered.. He had a little weekend at Nanny Sue's and Grandad Pete's :) :) :)

He had been a good boy sleeping in his own bed, not messing in the house and doing as he is told.

Look at his gorgeous face!

Awww...that's one handsome fella :D It's great that you have a secure and trusted place to take Henry when you are away.
Makes your time-off way more easy and relaxing...even when missing your little friend you know that he is in good hands.

Henry is one handsome little guy! It is hard leaving them but it makes it easier when you trust the person who's looking after them. I'm glad you both had a good weekend.

He is a cutie...look at that face! I hate being away from Jax. I was away from him for 4 days in May and will be away from him for 3 days in August but I do love how excited he gets when I come home (and he usually won't leave my side for awhile).

Thank you everyone :)

I really have missed him, I cannot agree with you more when it comes to leaving your dog with a trusted person.

We left him with my partners parents and we have been having daily updates on what he has been up to.

The first day we left he was looking for us around the house.

I kept finding myself wanting to ring and see how he is.

When we went to collect him as soon as I went to pick him up he came running up to me showing me his new toy elephant.

I don't know if it's just because I have been away from him but.. It looks like he's grown loads!?!

WHERE IS MY BABY GOING!?!? :( :( :( :fie:

He literally wants to follow me everywhere, I'm trying to get my clothes washing sorted and he is trying to get in the washing machine:facepalm:

We all had a lovely break but we are glad to be home with our Henry!:heart:image.webp

This was when we first picked him up (after he had calmed down) he is like 'please don't leave me again Mommy'

Awww he is soooo handsome!!! I don't like to leave my two either. We just used a new dog sitter for 10 days. It kinda broke my heart when she told me whenever they heard a noise they would run to the laundry room door to look for us. All was fine though much to our relief!

What a hans=dsome fella.... so glad you are back together. i always dread leaving my babies too

Thanks again everyone :)

I always say how beautiful he is but I just put that down to being biased LOL! :) :)

He really stuck out when we picked him because of his dark face.

One thing I've noticed is his 'puppy acne'? He keeps getting little spots around his mouth and sometimes they look like they bleed. I have read that it's something to do with the type of bowls you use..?

I use a shallow metal bowl for his food and a ceramic bowl for his water.

Any ideas what I can do to help?

Also does anyone give their dogs coconut oil?

Sorry about all the questions :(

I give mine 1 tsp coconut oil every other day/ 2 days. My girl goes nuts over it and will eat it for days if I'd let her, my boy isn't crazy about it, so I just add it to his food and he eats anyway. Haha.

I give Jax 1 1/2 teaspoons of coconut oil every other day. I believe you can give 1/2 teaspoon per every 10 pounds.

I use stainless steel bowls for both food and water.
