Yes or No?

My little girl has sort of grown out of keys and such and I was considering picking her up an antler. Are they pretty safe? She loved her keys dearly but I noticed they're getting worn out. She's quite the strong chewer :).

The German Shepherd and Chihuahua got them one day, and they blew them off after about five minutes, lol. That's my only experience with them.

I personally give Maple local moose antlers, but I do limit her time with them (15-20 mins).

I believe deer antler have a differenct structure(are harder) and most of them (if bought at pet stores) have been treated with preservatives etc.

If you do decide to get antlers, make sure they are bigger than her mouth & I would definitley limit the time chewing them,as they are rather hard.
Also keep an eye on your dog and if she goes at it too hard, I would get her something different to chew on,because they can potentially crack their teeth.
