Hey All! I'm assuming allergies are probably going to be an issue I'm going to have to deal with at least a little when I eventually find my Frenchie and I was wondering if anyone had ever tried bee pollen and what their experience was.

For those who don't know bee pollen is, well, exactly what it sounds like. It's a tiny ball of different pollens and bee saliva and enymes. When used correctly (very very gradually, like start with one or two granules) it can help build up a resistance to seasonal allergies because your body begins to understand how to combat the different pollens ingested and can build up a resistance instead of being hit all at once *cough spring*. If you can obtain it locally it's the most effective at those are the pollens you're most likely going to encounter but even something not local is going to have common pollens that usually bother allergy sufferers (ragweed, goldenrod, etc.) I've ha a friend with terrible allergies who swears by it. I've tried it too but I don't really have allergies so I can't really attest to it's power (i know i know:whistle:).

I've done some research and it seems people have used it successfully with their dogs but I was wondering if anyone had an experience using it with Frenchies in particular.

Never used it myself, but I have heard of people using it. I probably wouldnt give it to a young puppy though, for the same reason you dont give honey to infants.

Raw,local honey also has similar effects and might be easier to get locally.

Never tried bee pollen for Jax who has environmental allergies but I did try local raw honey for awhile and I never noticed a difference.

Interesting! Never tried this myself or heard of anyone who has

We also did the local honey for Banks... her environmental allergies were real bad, the honey helped some
