I am not sure if this is an appropriate topic here. Please delete if this is deemed inappropriate and I am sorry that I brought this up.
I am curious on how many times do we need to administer the semen collected to a bitch? And how do we determine when to do the c-section?
I have heard a few of my friends saying 2x and do the c-section on the 62nd day after the first administration. If she shows signs of labour, of course would do the surgery then.
My opinion is always once is enough, natural breeding or AI. It's easier to schedule for the c-section. Although I haven't bred any of my dogs and may not breed any of them. But this topic pop up amongst my friends and I am curious to know more.
Any experienced breeders here would care to share your experience in this matter with me? Appreciate it.
