Hello, I'm trying to gauge my pups size...is he too big or too small.

Whats the avg male weight at 10 weeks?

Jax will be 7 in April so I can't remember but how much does your guy weigh? Can you see/feel his ribs when he is standing up? Can you post a photo?

He was 1 day shy of 8 weeks at last vet visit and he weighed 12lbs. Everything I see online seems to lend that hes a big boy.

I don’t have a specific measurement for 10 weeks but my personal experience with my male puppy Hugo is:

7.5 weeks 5.3 lbs (2.42kg)
14 weeks 13.89 lbs (6.3kg)
19 weeks 16.76 lbs (7.6kg)
32 weeks 21.39 lbs (9.7kg)

Hugo is a different looking Frenchie too, longer and thinner body type—not as compact and stocky. He’s about 30 weeks old, 20ish lbs at the top of this pic next to a more traditional looking female frenchie (33 weeks old, 19ish lbs)

My boy Leo was the following
12 Weeks- 10 lbs
15 weeks - 12 lbs
18 weeks- 17 lbs
24 weeks- 20 lbs
He is now almost 2 years old (bday in March) and he has been holding at 28 pounds.

Ok, seems like hes a little big but not too bad. Next visit is next week, he’ll be 11 weeks...we will see what he is.

Thanks for the replys.

He does not look too big in his pictures. When looking down at him while he’s standing, you should see a bit of a waist. All dogs are different so some are just bigger than others even though they are the same breed.

Thanks. Yeah he’s got a nice shape. Guess he’ll be alright.
