Back to having accidents... Why?

So. Bentley had zero accidents inside for about 2 months. I thought he was perfectly potty trained. Then the last week or so he's had one here and there. Then today... Different story.
In the morning he peed in the bed then today when I got home from work I took him out and he peed... Within 20 minutes he peed on the floor inside. And within the next 20 minutes he peed 4 more times and pooped once. I took him outside right after and he peed again...

Is this a relapse or is he just being a brat? I'm not sure what is going on.

I would have him checked for a urinary tract infection. It's good to rule out medical explanations first.

I agree, check for a UTI. But sometimes they will slip back, and it's back to basics with the training.

I agree to check for a medical explanation first. I don't believe dogs intentionally want to be a "brat". Something is going on. Have you had another dog over lately?

No other dogs have been in my place. He's been good since those accidents. But if I continues I will have him checked. He's such a gremlin.

I'm in the same boat! Buck is 10 months old and has been house broken since he was 4 months old. Just recently he's started pooping in the floor. I take him out regularly so I'm not sure why he's started doing this. I always take him out every 3 hours or if he goes to the door.

He has stopped. He peed one time inside since this craziness.
I'm soon to get him obedience training as well. So that should reinforce anything.

yeah well ive gone though that for 20+ years, pugs and now my frenche. think its a territorial thing. i had a female that would pee on the bed then lay about 4 feet form it, yes on the same bed. id go in and she would perk her ears up, like what. mine gradually out grew it. but then i really dont expect to much from them. just make sure you have a really huge washer on hand, and i dont mean a large wife or husband.
