My 8 months old white french bulldog has some bald spots around her legs and one on her back, the spots are deep so i can see her skin when i look closely, on the skin she has some tiny black dots, she has them for around 2 months now.
I know that something is wrong, I visited a nearby vet and she suggested that it might be an allergy reaction and that we should wait a few weeks to see how it turns out, I have a scheduled appointment at the vet next week but im afraid that i will have to pay a lot of money. Any way i could help my dog now?

Did the vet do a skin scrape to rule out mites/mange?

The vet did a skin scrape today and found out that she has a follicle and that she has inherited it from her mother.
The vet also said that we mostly cant do anything and that we will have to wait until her organism takes care of it.

So, it is nothing to be concerned about?

Please check out the thread "Hair Loss". You may be dealing with something similar to what Bella was dealing with. We had the same issue.

Balding spots around the legs and on her back. They have all healed now. Everything I did the resolve the issue is there.

It is something to be concerned about but we cant do anything about it, just wait
