Quella received a 6 month BarkBox subscription as a gift and so far, she loves it. Q receives the Medium box and is 4 months old. What size does your doggy receive? Any opinions on the products so far?

I'll talk about May's treats, so I don't give up the June's treats...

  • Bionic Rubber which is a firm orange chew, throw, stuff w/peanut butter toy. - Q chews on or tosses it around once a week.
  • Nootie BBQ chicken jerky. They're carrot stick sized soft chews. I saved the rest of the bag, so I can cut them in small pieces and give during training class, because they are smelly.
  • Etta Says duck chew. It looks like a 8in. dark coloured rawhide. I left this in the box as I don't feel comfortable giving it to Q just yet.
  • Max & Ruffy's strawberry and carob flavour natural organic wheat free treats. They're the size of a quarter and about 3 quarters tall. Being Q swallows everything whole, I have to break it in to 4 pieces, which still makes me nervous because they're jagged cracked cookie edges.
  • Zuke's apple flavoured chew, clean teeth, freshen breathe bones. The one in Q's box was for dogs 90+ lbs. I sent a complaint to the company and they informed that the supplier said it is okay for smaller dogs as well as big dogs and offered to send me a replacement treat and I declined.

I couldn't find any other BarkBox threads, so was hoping we could share our dog's likes/dislikes, share if you come across a discount code for future buyers, etc.

We get a medium too, this month was our first. Interestingly, we seem to have gotten may's box for June.. We had all of those. Hudson ate the duck chew in about 10 seconds and isn't really interested in anything else. Trying to decide if it's worth it to continue for him.

Havent ordered one yet but maybe soon.
But omg I can't believe how much she looks like Maple. Wow! They could be related!
Do you have her pedigree? :D

I was definitely not impressed with Q's June month BarkBox. It was themed for international travel. 'Bone Jour'

  • Harry Barker Eiffel Tower toy w/2 squeaks inside. Quella likes tossing this toy in the air and carrying it during her daily Frenchie 500.
  • Harry Barker Tug & Toss which is a monkey fist (for those boating enthusiasts) and it's the size of a baseball. The moment my dad; Q's yampa saw it, he immediately took it from the box and brought it to the lake with him. Quella got ripped off. :(
  • Le Petit Treat Quiche Lorraine which are yellow silver dollar sized and overly crunchy biscuits. Because Q doesn't chew and only swallows, I could barely break the treat into pieces for her.
  • Bocce's Bakery Chicken Cordon Bleu are milkbone sized treats and again, overly crunchy.

Please pardon Q's fur in the picture. She's having an allergic reaction to OdoBan Disinfesting Spray and looks a little mangy.

OK the chicken jerky I would be leery of. If it's made in china, throw it out. I will never give my bullies any treat or food made in China, as they have no quality control and have sold foods and treats that are harmful to dogs. Plus the stuff that looks like rawhide I would not give either, as rawhide is not good for Frenchies and can be a choking hazard.
