Starting a thread to see what everyone uses to was their frenchie friends. Also what sort of frequency for bathing
Currently I used natural baby shampoo after testing it on his belly skin
And bathing him once a week
What about everyone else?

I use Ketohex or Chlorohexidine and bathe once a week but only because Jax has bad environmental allergies. But if your guy doesn't have allergies, you don't need to bathe weekly.

Yeah I bathe him that frequent just to keep him smelling okay he is a puppy and has a habit of being really smelly

If you don't need to wash for medical reasons then limit it as it dries out their skin and they are very prone to dry skin it strips their natural oils. I know frustrating as they don't smell too good lol ! Buddy uses oatmeal based dog product as others make him itch x

Yeah our vet is a big frenchie lady she said once a week was good but warned to watch the skin. Thanks for the heads up if he gets drys skin I will cut it out . Has anyone else tried a couple drops Vitamin e oil after the bath. It's something my vet recommended if he gets dry

When I had Mia, I used Johnsons Baby Shampoo and bathed her once every 3 weeks, unless she got into some dirt - which was rare.

Physician's formula antiseptic and antifungal shampoo is the best!! Can purchase on Chewy.com.

I use aroma paws shampoo and conditioner for sensative skin ( he's a puppy) and it smells great
