Hey everyone,

New to this forum and wanted to ask other members about the food brand they feed their frenchies. Our frenchie (Jake) just turned one and we have to switch from puppy food. We fed him Royal Canin puppy dry food entire time and he loves it. Also royal canin cans for dinner. Now we have to switch him to adult food and thinking of switching to another brand. I had the breeder suggest, Taste of the wild brand but I had read some good and bad reviews. Any input would be appreciated.

Dry foods- 5 star foods on dogfoodadvisor site such as : Acana Regionals, Fromm Four Star, Wellness Core, Victor Grain Free, Orijen, Nature's Variety Instinct.

Why not go for a dehydrated raw dog food such as Honest Kitchen, Spot Farms, Grandma Lucy's or a frozen raw dog food? These are much better if your dog has allergies.

Thank you. He does not have any allergies. Sticking to dry food for now.

Fromm, Acana, Orijen, and Zignature are a few.

You can check out all the ratings and other brands at dogfoodadvisor.com.

I have been feeding my frenchie Fromm since 8 weeks. He is now 2. It seems to be a good option. Today I am going to pick up some Stella and chewys Frozen Raw - He is going to go nuts.

I also usually toss Bananas, Apples, Strawberries, Carrots or Broccoli in his kibble too. He loves everything.

I feed Taste of the Wild. I've had nothing but good luck with it.
