Does anybody have any recommendations for the best food to be feeding a French Bulldog Puppy? Can food be homemade for them? Is that considered better? And if so, which types? Thanks in advance,

Many here do home cook or feed raw... it is always an option it depends on what your baby will accept. Frenchies are known to be picky.

I feed Fromm Pork and Peas (grain free) kibble

My dog didn't like the taste of Fromm but loved Acana and Orijen. Also, you should switch to adult dog food at around 6-8 months of age.

I feed raw. You can do homecooked but you would need to make sure they are getting all of the proper nutrients.

I have a very picky eater and I have had succes feeding Sojos premix and just add a cooked protein. I also sprinkle with a little freeze dried chicken, which she loves.

I would be cautious about feeding raw food to a puppy. They don't have as well developed immune systems as a grown dog, and are more at risk of getting abnormal bone growth if the ratios of calcium and phosphorus aren't right.

We feed our pups FROMM Puppy Gold in the pink bag, and have had good luck with it.

We feed raw in the morning the brand is pets go raw... and FROMM kibble at night
