Introducing the handsome Boston! Boston loves to be the center of attention, and he is looking for a forever family who can give that to him! This guy came to FBRN when the family he was living with had another child and they just didn’t seem to have time to keep up with his needs. Luckily for him, he’s now in search of his forever home.
Boston currently has food allergies and needs a family dedicated to controlling these allergies with a grain free diet. In his previous family he had his nares done, but he still seems to breathe heavily. Boston gets along with all other dogs, it doesn’t matter if they are big or small. He likes both males and female dogs just fine too! We believe slow introductions work best regardless of the personalities of the dogs involved, though, so be sure to learn about that method for integrating your new dog into your family! He previously lived in a home with children so he is alright with those too!
Boston would do well in any type of environment. He would prefer a home with a fenced in yard as he loves to explore. With his exploring personality it goes without saying he loves to go on walks and rides around to see the sights in the car. Boston is housebroken. He does have anxiety about going into a crate to the point where he will try to chew out and has hurt his mouth and the insides of it before. It would be best if he could be in a home where he is free to roam about while you are away, or where he will never be left alone.
Boston doesn’t mind if you go to work, he is just asking for someone who could possibly work from home. He also wouldn’t mind going to doggy day care. With the proper training Boston could make an office dog, he just has to understand office time isn’t cause for a doggy expedition into parts unkown!
