Breakthrough in Potty training - whoo hoo!

Raised 4 boys and had them all out of diapers by the time they were 2 1/2 and have owned and potty trained 3 dogs since I've been married. I know how to do it and I am good at it. But my little miss Tallulah has been giving me a run for my money! We've had her 6 weeks now and I have been very consistent with her. Crating, taking her out frequently, praising, offer treats, and watching her like a hawk, lol. She's getting it, but still will randomly pee and poop in the house even after just being let out. Just now, a major breakthrough. I took her out and she peed, but despite giving her time, no poop so we came in. I fed her dinner and a few minutes after eating she ran to the back door and BARKED to go out! She Barked to go out! And when I took her out, she pooped! Whoo hooo! :excited: Way to go Tallulah! Had to share, lol thanks for indulging me.

I know the feeling! When we started closing the back door, we were cheering the first few times he went to it and whined to be let out.
