Sweet milk chocolate colored Cadbury loves to be with her people and her fellow dogs. She occasionally chews a nylabone and has been spotted pushing a ball around for fun, but she mostly loves being in the company of others. She is absolutely adorable, especially with her sticky-outie tongue, and is looking for the perfect home to spoil and cherish her.

Cadbury is a pretty low energy dog. Due to her breathing limitations she gets about all the exercise she needs dancing around. She will follow you anywhere and loves to sleep in the bed and sit by you on the couch. Her new family will have to be ok with cuddling on the couch and the bed, cause this princess likes to be pampered! Cadbury is also a clown. Whoever adopts her better have a good sense of humor, as she is always doing something silly or funny.

She's not the type of dog you can take for long walks of more than a block, even less if it's warm. She overheats easily and her breathing needs to be closely monitored.

Cadbury has yet to learn any commands or be fully house trained. She's not terribly food motivated so someone looking for a dog to perform tricks need not apply. She has plenty of other charming characteristics that will keep you entertained.

Cadbury seems to have separation anxiety. She DESPISES her crate, yet isn't savvy enough to keep herself out of danger in the house unsupervised. She has mini meltdowns when crated and works herself up. This is not good for her breathing issue. She NEEDS to be with people and not locked up in a crate to be happy and healthy. She is known to mess in her crate due to frustration, then dance in it. If she doesn't do that then she will at least cover it in slobber. Her foster family had to get a travel crate because she would get so upset in the regular wire crate she could slip out the tray then move it around the room where she then pulled things through the wire to destroy. Basically, Cadbury should not be left alone unattended and she should also not be crated.

Cadbury is not fully house broken. She is learning and will go outside, but she will also go inside. She would do great with a family who can block off a dog proof room and leave her in there with another sweet dog. Cadbury knows no tricks and has shown no interest in learning them.

Cadbury loves everyone. A home with dogs is a must considering she spent most of her life surrounded by them. Our biggest wish is she be left alone as little as possible since it upsets her so much. She needs someone with bulldog experience due to her breathing issues and loudness with breathing and honking. She needs a family with a very calm and structured environment. Cadbury needs people who will be patient and understand that she wants to please you but isn't always the fastest learner. She follows her people everywhere they go. She will get into your trash if she smells something good even though shes not overly impressed with food otherwise, so her new people will have to keep trash cans secure and away from her reach.

Cadbury can live in any type of home or apartment. SHE CAN NEVER BE LEFT IN A YARD! Cadbury is an indoor frenchie princess. She needs to either have someone with her at home or go to work with them to truly thrive and be happy. She would love to go to the office with her person.

Cadbury was diagnosed as having an extremely small trachea. This may or may not cause issues down the road. The vet said dogs with this condition are prone to have collapsing trachea when they are that small and she is more in danger of that happening when excited or warm. While all bulldogs are prone to overheating, Cadbury is extra prone to this and must always be kept cool. She has an extremely loud honk due to it and it comes out when excited. Cadbury pants and drools when exposed to any temps above 70 degrees. Cadbury's new home must have air conditioning and be willing to keep her in a climate controlled environment. She can not be taken on long walks due to her predisposition to overheating. Cadbury's new owners will need to be ready to provide medical care related to her breathing and trachea condition for her entire lifetime.
