We are very excited to have a Frenchie pup join our family the year. Any advice for a new Frenchie owner? We have a 11 yr old lab retriever that is a gem. I can't wait for our new addition to the family. This is a great forum.

We are getting a female on the week of Christmas . Her name now is Elle. We may keep it as it is French and has a nice ring. She is brindle in color. I will try to post picture and video. We can't wait. More updates to follow.

Aww your little Elle is precious!!! We got our little Stella on Christmas Day last year and it was such a memorable day. Our frenchies came to us after having English bull terrriers, so the frenchies are a piece of cake to us. They are loving, funny and tough little dogs. Keep a camera/phone handy because they are so darn cute with their antics and they grow fast. Then of course the typical stuff, like a quality food, puppy proofing, potty training and lots of safe chew toys, like nylabones are also in order. :welcome:
