I will be going to pick up a frenchie pup the end of August. Could anyone advise me what size collar I will approximately need for him? He will be around 10 weeks old. Thanks.

It's hard to tell really until you meet the little pup. They all come in different shapes and sizes so no one size fits all collar exists. They have some adjustable ones though. My little one could fit into a collar until at 4.5 months because she's tiny. And even then she only wears it for show because it has her tags on it. Also with frenchies and brachycephallic dogs it is recommended that you use a harness instead of a collar on them because putting pressure on their necks is a health hazard because they are smooshed face. If your little one is on the smaller side you can try buying a cat harness that's what I used on Nellie when she was younger and smaller.

Thanks for the advise. I am definitely getting a harness once I can properly measure him
My concern is just when I pick him up to take him home. Do you think an adjustable collar between 10-15" would suffice? He'd only be around 10 weeks old.

Hmmmm. I'd get a small one... someone at the pet store can advise you...

I didn't get the harness until I had puppy at home and after they had their shots. They can't really go anywhere public until they get their puppy shots.

But if you do want it now then just go check out the selection and pick one that's for a small dog around 10 pounds. They usually say the weight they are for on them as well to help you choose

I was just looking this week at collars. The small size will probably work. I think they say they are for chihuahuas or toy poodles.
I am glad to know about the cat harness! Did not think about that and I really want to start Oren out wearing a harness. I have the ones Pierce grew out of for when he is older, just nothing for the beginning leash training.
