Cooling mat

I want to get a cooling mat for Jax to use when he is outside on the deck. We have had hot temperatures over the last few days and Jax loves to go on the deck to catch some rays when the sun is out but the deck is hot on my feet so I know it is hot for him. When he lays frog dog style all I can think of is how hot his dingy must get touching the deck.

Anyone have a cooling mat that they love and would recommend?

We use a Coolaroo, and ours like them. There are some with a gel in them and I hear they work good, but you have to watch them and make sure they do not chew on them, as the gel is not good for them.

Agree with David.... The gel i think is toxic

I use this one Amazon.com : Hugs Pet Products Chillz Pad Comfort Cooling Gel Pet Pad, Large (36" x 20") : Dog Cooling : Pet Supplies and like it. I even put it in his car seat on hot days so that it stays cool. Seems to really help.
