Hi all!

Sorry if this has been posted hundreds of times, but as i'm not in the US the dog food on most threads isn't available here!
I collect my puppy in 2 weeks time (eeeeek can't wait!),and i'm going to start her off with the puppy food the breeder currently has and slowly introduce other types to find which agrees with her the most. Regarding treats though... I've seen on various posts you all feed your pups fruit and veg daily, What kinds of fruit and how much?? I don't want her getting a funny tummy but want her to be as healthy as possible and enjoy fruity treats! Also I've seen on loads of threads about the raw diet.. I don't think i'd be able to do this permanently but I'd like to try a few times a week for variety. What kinds of meat do you recommend?? Do you freeze the meat? Sorry for so many questions!! :)

I don't really feed my dogs too much fruit. Their food does have apples and cranberries in it though. Sometimes I will give a carrot or a piece of apple but that's about it. Veggies are also included in their food. We feed Sojos freeze dried base mix and you just add water and a protein. Raw did not work out with my dogs, but I don't know if it is really a good idea to switch back and forth from kibble to raw. May be a little hard on the pup's digestion. Someone else may have better input about that.

We only give a piece or two of fruit every once in awhile and not every day. You can give it every day if you want, but just a bite or two. No grapes or raisins though. As far as the food goes, I don't know what you have available there, but look at the ingredients. If it has corn in it, put it back

I use green beans and watermelon mostly... not everyday, but they love both

We use berries, fruits and vegies as a treat. Napoleon would do anything for a small cube of honey crisp apple, he loves rasberries and blackberries (when we visiting family at the farm, he just graze on them from the bushes), he loves cooked couliflower, sweet potato, green beans. Since he is a puppy and we do a little bit of training every single day, so he gets small bites of fruits and veggies every day. He is on dry food otherwise.
