I have never seen pope drool until yesterday at the dog park. We have been several times, he loves it! Yesterday he got a little scared of a big dog that came up to him and he darted over to me. He had a ton of drool and looked to be foaming at the mouth (just a lot of little spit bubbles). He was acting fine after I picked him up. It happened again this morning. It was incredibly adorable, but I want to make sure that it isn't a sign of something else. I included a picture so you could see.

Jax will drool excessively in the car because he hates it and gets such bad anxiety. Drooling can be a sign of fear and anxiety. I would say if he is constantly drooling, there may be an underlying issue.

I agree with Citty. It's usually a sign of anxiety. I would not worry too much. He's precious!!!

How freakin cute is he..... Cheli does this too, especially when he is really excited/over stimulated about somehting.... like finding a baby toad :stinkeye:
