Dry patch on 5 month old Frenchie itching all the time ideas?

Hi guys my 4 month old Frenchie Sugar started itching about 2 months ago so I changed her food from Earthborn to Zignature Trout and Salmon formula thinking it was the food and she is still itching all the time. She has a patch that started out red and soft and now it dry and ruff. I put her on probiotics 2 weeks ago but she still is itching? And ideas?

Can you post a picture? Since she is under a year old, it is possible it is mange, a skin scrape by vet will rule it out
